Scientific SubCommittee: Sample Collection and Processing

Sample collection and processing to isolate high-quality DNA or collect tissue for chromatin approaches and generate sequencing libraries are key goals and challenges for EBP. Appropriate metadata is also critical to facilitate future interpretation of these genomes. In addition to practical challenges there are also legal constraints that require compliance. The sample collection and processing subcommittee proposes standards, for DNA quantity, quality, and vouchers, in partnership with the Sequencing and Assembly subcommittee.
