The EBP International Scientific Committee (ISC) is a critical element of the EBP as it develops and promotes scientific standards for the scalable production of reference-quality genomes. The ISC consists of one chairperson and five subcommittees that are responsible for standards development in the following areas: sample collection and processing, sequencing and assembly, annotation, information technology and informatics, and data analysis.
