EBP Dashboard
To date, EBP-affiliated projects have generated over half of the publicly available high-quality assemblies that meet EBP standards, more than doubling contributions to NCBI and bringing the total now available to 6,619.
Genomes on a Tree (GoaT) is a global genome-tracking and discovery platform that aggregates publicly available taxonomic, genomic and genome-relevant metadata. GoaT harmonises these records into a single, searchable framework. By organising genomes across the Tree of Life, GoaT enables users to query species lists, taxonomic coverage, sequencing status, assembly quality, and duplication risk, making it easier to identify gaps, coordinate efforts, and prioritise high-value sequencing targets.
The EBP Dashboard provides a real-time snapshot of global progress toward Earth BioGenome Project targets, consolidating project-level reporting to show sequencing status, taxonomic representation, and geographic participation—supporting coordination, gap-filling, and collective impact at planetary scale.
